Expect to be immersed in jazz, funk, soul, house, Latin, and soul jerking music from Mr. Kandu’s deep discography library. Be prepared to be taken on a musical journey from start to finish. By bringing community together through dance, deep listening, and interacting with your peers The Sound Room is a show you don’t want to miss. There is a $10 cover at the door so get there early as this event is expected to reach capacity.
BIO:
Corey Battle(Mr. Kandu) is a prolific dj and sound curator based out of Huntsville, AL. Mr. Kandu is a specialist in creating an immersive and intimate musical experience. His sound palette stems from Jazz, Funk, Latin, House, and many crossover genres. Mr. Kandu has spent a decade finding hidden gyms and soulful sounds for music lovers all around the world through his platform Kandu Radio. Corey is the owner of Kandu Records and is committed to delivering music for the soul.
