Keyton is a solo artist from North Alabama who performs music influenced by 2000's emo rock. Musical style often balances between energetic indie vibes and heartfelt acoustic delivery. Keyton has booked several independent tours and released music under the one-name moniker for over 15 years. Before moving to Madison County in 2018, Keyton lived in Atlanta, GA (OTP) and Anniston, Alabama. Since the release of debut E.P. Dearly Departed, Dearly Dependent, he has written and released over 40 songs to streaming platforms. Keyton has opened for notable acts (St. Paul & The Broken Bones, The Ataris, et al.), worked with historic southern studios (FAME, Sun Studios, Capricorn Sound Studios), and even released an educational song in conjunction with NASA for the 2017 total solar eclipse. His latest single features the work of Alkaline Trio drummer Atom Willard, bassist Jack Lawrence of The Raconteurs, singer-songwriter Billy the Kid, and Grammy-nominated producer Bobby Holland.
